Born in 1958 in Arzamas city near the Volga River. Andrei Kugaevskiy got his fine arts education at the prestigious Repine Institute in St.Petersburg. He is rather prominent as landscaper, inspired by nature of Mid - Russia and small towns surrounding Moscow. Under the Communist time his father had achieved a doctorate in engineering and subsequently bored the rank of General of Aviation in the Soviet Army. Paintings of artist are accumulated in museums of Russia and private collection of USA, Italy, Sweden, Finland and at homeland.
